A piece of automotive history
Jaguar was founded in 1922, but has been producing desirable sports cars, luxury saloons and racing cars for almost 75 years. This exceptional British based marque has had major success at the historic Le Mans 24 Hours race with 5 wins in the 50s with the classic Jaguar C-Type and D-Type models.
The Jaguar V12 engine can trace its long heritage right back to 1954 when Jaguar intended the engine to carry on their success at Le Mans. However, after Jaguar withdrawal from racing the V12 engine languished until the 1960’s when it was considered as a possible powerplant for an ultra-luxurious limousine for the wealthy. Its first use in a road car was in the 1971 Series III E-Type and from there it became without doubt one of the premier powerplants of the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s.

It is true what they say, ‘it’s the little things that matter’. That is why even the small details on our products are quality custom made parts designed to add to their overall look, feel and practicality. The block itself is brand new and not reconditioned; the glass supports are high quality turned stainless steel with a built-in grub screw to allow for easy assembly and removal of the glass should you need to; the solid turned aluminium legs each have a hard rubber pad underneath for protection; the glass is type approved for your safety and finally, because each piece is made to order, we can offer custom etching on the glass to personalise each product with any name or logo you desire. So wouldn’t it be great to own a fantastic piece of Automotive History and to see it everyday!
Quality that lasts
The 6.0 Litre version, like we use in our products, debuted in the Jaguar XJS in 1992 to make this engine the most powerful Jaguar production engine to date. It was such a superb engine that it was also used in two versions of the XJ12 and in the Daimler Double-Six with the last Jaguar V12 engine being produced on April 17th 1997.
We want our products to be around as long as these fabulous engines and that is why we felt it was so important to use high quality materials. All of our products are hand built and incorporate a genuine block and custom shaped toughened glass that is professionally bonded to the turned solid stainless steel supports. Likewise the legs are just as important, they are made from solid CNC turned aluminium. All this means that our products are solid, stable and well engineered from the ground up and will therefore last a lifetime.
